The error in the title is unrelated to your problem.
Java, Adobe Flash, Google Talk and whatever plugin you've installed is not working any more because NPAPI support is removed from Chromium 35 (https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/forum/#!topic/chromium-dev/xEbgvWE7wMk )
If you want to use Java, downgrade to Chrome 34 (seehttps://superuser.com/questions/757941/how-to-downgrade-from-chrome-35-to-34-without-losing-data ) or use another browser such as Firefox.

what !?
so Chrome won't support Java or other plugins until they don't support PPAPI ?
Why not make that configurable and so let users to have the option ?, those that have security concerns could deactivate NPAPI, those who have not could enable it
I guess my opinion won't make google to change its mind regarding this NPAPI support stuff so, Chrome ends for me here... Bye bye Chrome
