Note that the issue is probably related to my other report:https://issues.chromium.org/issues/327643790
The reason for 2 separate issues was because this is a specific regression in plasma-6 while the other issue already occurred on plasma-5. In the other issue you can also see some more of my system details.

Unable to reproduc the issue on Linux Debain using chrome version 122.0.6261.111 as per comment#0.New windows opnened with dragged text URL without any issues.
Please confirm is this specific to plasma 6?
Request you once try the issue on new profile without any flags/extensions and update the thread if the issue still persists.

Yes, this issue is most definitely specific to plasma-6. Although the general issue of mouse events being ignored as the browser becomes stuck in a drag event already existed in plasma-5, as described in the linked issue.
Yes, this was tested with a clean/new profile. Also make sure the browser is configured to use Wayland while testing.

Problem Description
This started happening after updating to 122.0.6261.94 and plasma 6 on Linux Arch (plasma channel: extra-testing). See attached video and log file.
