Its seems like user is requesting for default korean font as Apple SD Gothic Neo (new) .
Any ways i also checked with Older version of chrome i.e M26 and compared with Latest dev:37.0.2062.20 and Latest Canary :38.0.2091.2 (Official Build 282901) and it seems like font is the same i.e.,Apple Gothic (old) (by default). We can find the differance between old and new font by the screen shot mentioned, differentiating chrome with safari and firefox.
I took M26 (26.0.1410.46 (Official Build 190146) ) for evaluating the issue and i found the same old Apple Gothic font and less then M26 i could not identify the issue because page is not rendering properly (old features). Please go withhttps://crbug.com/chromium/384127#c1 to repro the issue.
If it is considered as non-regression issue then it is existing from M26 (26.0.1410.46 (Official Build 190146) ) onwards.
Note :Seems to be Not much differance between the fonts,if you observe in-detail you may get some idea

I've found what is causing this. It's <lang="ko"> inside header.
Chrome displays Apple Gothic (old font) when lang is set to "ko".
Chrome displays Apple SD Gothic Neo (new font) correctly with <lang="en">.
Most of Korean web designers prefer 'Apple SD Gothic Neo' because there is no bold character set in old 'Apple Gothic'.

Slated to an old branch and no activity in the bug in over a year suggest that this can be archived.

Description
Chrome Version : 36.0.1977.0 canaryhttps://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.inputmethod.korean&hl=ko
URLs (if applicable) :
OS version : OSX 10.8.5
Behavior in Safari 3.x/4.x (if applicable): Default font - Apple SD Gothic Neo
Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): Default font - Apple SD Gothic Neo
Behavior in Chrome for Windows: Default font - Apple Gothic
What steps will reproduce the problem?
What is the expected result?
Apple changed default Korean font from Apple Gothic (old) to Apple SD Gothic Neo (new) OSX 10.8 and iOS5.1
Google Chrome should display default Korean font in Apple SD Gothic Neo when no style is given.
I have reported same issue to Mozilla and they fixed it.
Now, only Google Chrome is left behind.
What happens instead?
Google Chrome still uses Apple Gothic as default Korean font.
