Unable to repro this issue on Windows 7, 8 & 8.1 for Google Chrome Stable Version - 40.0.2214.111
@jedroberts36: Could you please follow these below mentioned steps and let us know your findings.
1. Uninstall the Chrome.
2. Go to Program Files -> Google Chrome.
3. Delete the Google Chrome Folder.
4. Restart your computer.
5. Launch the Chrome.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I think I have found the problem and have
partially solved it. I restored my computer's system to earlier dates
until Chrome loaded properly. I then found out that Microsoft updates
were causing the problem. I replicated the problem several times. I
haven't had the time or the patience to try and narrow down which update
was causing the problem since there were more than one involved. Have
you heard of any other people having problems of this nature? And if so,
what suggestions do you have? I dread trying to contact Microsoft.

Verified the issue on Latest Stable# 41.0.2272.101 and is not reproducible.

I have already uninstalled and reinstalleed chrome. same problem. malware already checked
