Yeah, it is the same issue. And there's no crashing report for this error; whole app froze, and had to use force quit to close the browser.
I wonder if the Chrome team can see Apple's crash report. If so, I can provide an incident ID of Apple's crash report.

I have the same issue, it happens to me often with all kinds of different PDFs.

Thanks for the info, so far the ` --disable-renderer-accessibility` works for me.

Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
Safari: OK
Firefox: OK
Edge: Not tested.
Only Chrome opens it as a file view, but others open it with a built-in viewer on the website.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Go to the website
(2) Zoom in on some page in pdf
(3) Scroll around
(4) switch to another app and switch back. (Sometimes, not switching to other apps also freeze chrome.)
What is the expected result?
Chrome is not freezed.
What happens instead?
Chrome froze and never recovered.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
